Koyama Studio
Privacy and terms
This one page covers every Telegram Mini App made by Koyama Studio. Each app has its own section further down, with what it handles and what it counts.
What every app does with your data
When an app opens, Telegram gives it your Telegram user ID, name and language. Our server checks Telegram's signature on that data. It uses your user ID to check whether you have Pro and to count visits anonymously. It does not keep your name or your language. There are no accounts and no profiles.
What we store
- If you buy Pro in an app: your Telegram user ID and the payment ID. They switch Pro on for your account and let us refund you on request.
- Anonymous daily counts, listed per app below. People are counted in a way that cannot be traced back to a person, and the daily counts are deleted after 120 days.
We store nothing else about you. What you enter in an app, such as names or photos, is not stored.
What stays on your device
Each app keeps a few small settings in your device's local storage, listed per app below. Clearing Telegram's data on your device removes them.
Ads
Some apps show ads from Adsgram. The ad provider's script is loaded only when an ad is about to play, and it may collect technical data about your device and the ad, under Adsgram's own privacy policy. We do not give Adsgram anything you enter in an app. Pro removes the ads.
Payments
Pro is a one-time payment in Telegram Stars, handled by Telegram. We never see your payment method. We receive the payment ID and your Telegram user ID when you buy. There is no subscription. For a refund within 14 days of the purchase, send /paysupport to the bot or email info.koyama.studio@gmail.com. A refund removes Pro.
Who else handles data
- Telegram runs the platform and handles Stars payments. See Telegram's privacy policy.
- Vercel hosts the apps and keeps standard technical logs (such as the time and IP address of a request) for a limited time.
- Upstash holds the database with the Pro records and the anonymous counts.
- Adsgram shows the ads in the apps that have them, under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
Email info.koyama.studio@gmail.com to ask what is stored about you, to have your Pro record deleted (which also ends Pro), or to ask any question about this page. We reply within 2 days. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Terms of use
The apps are provided as is, without a promise that they are free of errors or always available. Use them lawfully and do not try to disrupt them or get around their limits. We may change or stop an app. To the extent the law allows, Koyama Studio is not liable for indirect losses from using them.
The apps
Random Name Picker
Random Name Picker. Pro: yes. Ads: yes.
- What it handles. The names you type or import, and the winners drawn. The draw runs on your phone, with your device's secure random number generator. The names and winners stay on your phone unless you tap Send to chat.
- What goes through our server. When you tap Send to chat, the app sends the list of names and the winners to our server, which forwards a report to your own chat with the bot through Telegram. The server does not store it. The report carries a draw code, a signature that the bot's /verify command can check on a copy of the report. Nothing is kept to make that check work. Copy and Share use your phone and Telegram and do not involve our server.
- What it keeps on your device. Your sound choice and the time the last ad was shown, so that ads stay at most one a minute.
- What is counted. Visits, spins, ads shown, reports sent and payments, as anonymous daily counts.
Photo Editor
Photo Editor. Pro: yes. Ads: yes.
- What it handles. The photos you open and the edits you make. Editing happens on your phone and the photo is not uploaded while you edit.
- What goes through our server. When you tap Send to chat, the finished photo goes through our server to your chat with the bot, as a file. It is held in memory for that one request and is never stored.
- What it keeps on your device. The time the last ad was shown, so that ads stay at most one a minute.
- What is counted. Visits, photos sent, ads shown and payments, as anonymous daily counts.
Chess: Solo and 2 Players
Chess: Solo and 2 Players. Pro: yes. Ads: yes.
- What it handles. The moves you play and the game you leave unfinished. The game, the bot and the board picture all run on your phone, and your moves are never sent to our server.
- What goes through our server. When you tap Send board to chat, the app draws a picture of the final board on your phone and sends it, with the result line, through our server to your own chat with the bot, via Telegram. It is held in memory for that one request and is never stored.
- What it keeps on your device. Your mode, level, color and board choices, the game in progress so that you can continue it, whether you have finished a game, and the time the last ad was shown, so that ads stay at most one a minute.
- What is counted. Visits, games started, boards sent, ads shown and payments, as anonymous daily counts.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use an app after a change means you accept it.
